Giraffes Clean Their Ears with Their Tongues!

Giraffes are considered one of the tallest animals on earth. They sometimes reach the height of 18 feet. That’s obviously because of their incredibly long necks. However, not many people know that giraffes also have very long tongues.

You might be wondering why a giraffe would have such a long tongue.

And if you’re thinking there’s any correlation between the length of its neck and tongue, there isn’t.

The purpose behind is really disgusting, honestly.

In reality, giraffes use their long tongues to clean their ears.

Their tongues are usually around 21 inches, making it possible for them to reach their ears and manage to clean them.

Not only that, but giraffes can also use their tongues to clean their nose!

Giraffes are incredible animals, and they might be the only animal who’s born with horns.

They’re not that long, but both males and females are born with small bony knobs that are located on their forehead.

If not for the disgusting fact of how they use their tongues, we’d still idolize them.

We’re in no position to judge, though.

We might be seen as the most weird creature on earth by those animals.

Bet you didn’t know that much about Giraffes, did you?
